Echosonic

Using guitar-based drones as oscillators and computers as effects, echosonic builds collages of sound and emotions without a safety net. Swinging on
modulation and leaping on saturation, the end product is a kind of ambient, a type of electronica, a variety of noise.
The debut release, Gauze, was released in May 2009. This mini album includes material from a number of sessions that are pieced together into a series of tracks incorporating drifts of noise and organic melodies. With trademark ambient drone tracks and glitch-inspired electronica, Gauze blurs the boundaries between these diverse fragments of sound. The tracks are twisted in on themselves creating a maelstrom of murmurs, scratchy microrhythms and time and pitch-stretched harmonics sent twisting through the listener’s head.
